Anne J. Dalton travels throughout Canada and the United States on sketching trips
as inspiration for her landscapes and cityscapes. When she returns to her studio, Anne refers to her pencil sketches as well
as her memory to conceive a painting. Her works of art are developed by using a layering technique termed "glazing"
which is a time consuming process that allows her to pay attention to detail. Anne's paintings are truly unique, in that many
viewers have commented on how her scenes remind them of where they have been or what they have experienced in their lives.
